About us
Mára, Vojta Liebl (@lieblgraf), Tomáš E., Jirka, Vojta, Kája + Tomáš H., and many others who are missing in the picture.
We are a team of friends united by our passion for sports, entrepreneurial spirit, and the desire to do things our own way. We have experience from many, not only running, races, which we have participated in as competitors, as well as experience in managing and organizing projects. This inspired us to create something of our own. To use our knowledge and experiences, to draw inspiration from what we love, and to try to take it all a step further in our own distinctive style. Our home is South Bohemia – this piece of land where we come from, where we love to return, and which we know has so much to offer. In recent years, we have been discovering more and more unknown and forgotten places here, full of stories. Stories worth telling and sharing. To combine sports activities with exploration. To experience the beautiful South Bohemian landscape and introduce the history that was written within it. To explore it all while running.
We focused on the Lipno area. A popular recreational destination that hides much more beneath its surface. Vanished villages, faded factories, water channels, ruins, border areas that went through turbulent times. From a running perspective, there's a beautiful challenge here that allows you to visit all these places in one day – to run around the largest body of water in the Czech Republic, to run around Lipno. To live that story on narrow forest trails as a "full-fledged" solo ultratrail or to embark on this circular adventure with partners as a team relay.
All of this in a community and friendly atmosphere of runners – enthusiasts like you. An event by runners for runners (and not just for them). Landscape, history, culture, running. Fresh, distinctive, with respect for the land, the locals, and ourselves.
